The time has finally come! After extensive renovation work, we are starting the 2023 summer season under the new name Montela Hotel & Resort and with new offers.

We have expanded and completed our well-known Montela #feelslikehome feel-good service in spring with the new indoor playground, the new reception lounge and the hotel service.

On Saturday, 24 June 2023 from 17:00, we will open our doors for anyone interested to visit.

Fancy an adventure? How about a romantic fondue picnic amidst the natural world of Saas? Enjoy the traditional Swiss dish in the breathtaking Saas mountain world. We pack your rucksack with fine regional specialities and give you tips on where to find ideal picnic spots in the Saas Valley.

Services (included in the packed rucksack):

• regional cheese fondue (200g p.p., own house blend) from Schaukäserei Rhone AG
• Fondue bread in slices
• 1 bottle of white wine "Chapaux-blanc" from the Leukersonne, 50cl
• 1 thermos flask of tea
• 1 pack of rye chips from the Wüst bakery for the aperitif
• 2 large Frey chocolate hearts for dessert
• 2 schnapps to digest
• Insulated picnic blankets to sit on
• complete accessories (gas cooker incl. gas cartridge, caquelon, mug, cutlery)

Price: from Fr. 89.- for 2 persons. More persons (up to 7) on request.

Offer valid: available all year round

This is how it works:

• Reserve the fondue backpack at least one day in advance until 16.00 at the reception. The next day we will place the backpack in front of your holiday apartment door.
• After use, please put everything in the backpack and return it to the reception. We will do the rest for you!
